A Tessa Van Wade Fitness Studio
The Gym
About Us:
The Fit Xchange opened it's doors in Kailua Kona, Hawaii in October of 2016 and is owned and operated by Tessa Sandberg and her husband Ben. This boutique gym has four spaces for personal training and group classes, and is proud to partner with Trainers, Coaches, and Instructors from around Kona who share the same passion of bringing health and wellness to West Hawaii. The Fit Xchange was created to provide local personal trainers with a place to train their clients, and to build a community that promotes healing--mind, body, and spirit. You can find us on Kuakini Hwy. and Seaview Circle in Sunset Plaza, just south of Lako Street. Contact a team member today!

The Gym is about 575 square feet. This space offers private personal training, group circuit training, HIIT, Body Building, and Keiki Fitness classes. This is a great place for residents and visitors of Kailua Kona to get fit and meet others in the community with similar goals. When your trainer says the GYM, they mean studio A-104. It has two doors that you can enter from the north parking lot or the middle parking lot.

Home of our Creative Academy, Yoga with Abby, Amanda, and Jackie, as well as some Personal and Group Training, Pilates, and Hula with Lehua, this is our largest space. At about 800 square feet , we offer classes of all kinds. When your instructor says North Studio, this means it is upstairs, through the glass doors, and the first door on the North side.

THE BOX
The Box is our smallest space at about 300 Square Feet. This is for our more private sessions. If your trainer says The Box, they mean the last door at the end of the hallway, facing the middle parking lot.

The Center is about 575 square feet. This is where most pilates happens excluding the mat class on Saturday. We also have the ability to lift the reformers, which allows trainers to use it for sessions as well! So, if your Pilates instructor or trainers says The Center, they mean upstairs, through the glass doors, and the middle door in the hallway.
