What is the CREATIVE ACADEMY?
The Creative Academy offers the community a place to try new things, perfect passions, and unlock talents they never knew they had. This is not just for Keiki, but for adults too. From private to group lessons, there will be many opportunities to study voice, acting, dancing, fiction novel writing, song writing, piano, ukulele, guitar, and much more. If you are a teacher of something creative, we want you too!

Letter from Tessa
Creativity is the only thing that has provided my peace through the ups and downs of life. After working with hundreds of people in my career and playing a small role in their health, I began to understand that nearly every one of us has something deep within that calls us to create and without an outlet, it takes a toll. That's how Kona Creative Academy was built. Within the walls of the FitXChange, we also find the time to nurture our creativity.

What you need to know about me? I began acting in musicals at a young age, was a part of a nationally known choir through my high school years. I started writing novels at 19, have eleven books written, was published in 2000 by a boutique publisher, and my next book called The Fortune and Sorrow of Rachel Anne Praline will be released soon. I spent many years in Los Angeles studying Acting for Film in the Brad Henke and Ivana Chubbuck studios, while doing background work on movies like The Hangover, Just Go With It, and shows likeThe Office and Boston Legal.
